Pritchard Companies (Clear Lake, Iowa) announced its qualification as a dealer eligible to participate in the California HVIP (Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project). As a HVIP-approved dealership, our trained sales staff can now offer customers significant incentives on eligible vehicles.
The California HVIP, launched by the California Air Resources Board in 2009, is a cornerstone of the Board’s Low Carbon Transportation and Air Quality Improvement Program. The initiative funds technologies essential for meeting California’s 2030 and 2050 Climate Goals. The program is designed for California fleets to accelerate the adoption of low-emission and zero-emission trucks and buses by providing incentives at point-of-sale to reduce the incremental cost of commercial vehicles in the heavy-duty market.
Funds are currently available on a first-come, first served basis, with vouchers ranging from $7,500 up to $400,000 per truck. Pritchard EV will secure HVIP voucher funding through the online Voucher Processing Center, applying it at the point-of-sale on eligible vehicles. Information on eligible vehicles and Pritchard EV dealer details can be found HERE.
“We are excited to offer this incentive to our fleets to help enable the acceleration of electrification in the state of California,” said Ben Hartford, EV Sales Manager at Pritchard EV. “Our participation in the California HVIP program underscores our commitment to providing sustainable transportation solutions and supporting our customers in making environmentally responsible choices.”
