Terminal Supply Company announced the expansion of its Custom Cable and Wire Harness Assembly operations with the launch of a new facility at the Entrada Group manufacturing campus in Central Mexico.
In response to growing demand, Terminal Supply, the leading Electrical MRO supply partner to the heavy-duty equipment, truck and trailer Industries, finalized a multiyear agreement with Entrada Group in late 2022.
This partnership ensures availability of labor and reduces reliance on Asia in the OEM, MRO and Aftermarket supply chains.
“With this doubling of our expansion of capacity in Mexico, we are able to offer small-run custom assembly as well as high-volume program production to our OEM and aftermarket customers,” says Scott Leslie, President of Terminal Supply, which now has more than 50,000 sq. ft. dedicated to production.
Factory buildout and production line setup is currently underway at Entrada’s Zacatecas manufacturing campus. Process validation is scheduled for completion in Q2 2023, with production launches planned for the second half of 2023.
