Ford Pro debuted For Pro AI at Work Truck Week in Indianapolis. It is designed to help simplify fleet management by turning responsibilities, big and small, into tasks you can complete in minutes. Ford Pro AI is part of Ford's vision to bring impactful technology not only to the families who rely on us, but also to the businesses that use our trucks and vans to get their work done.
Managing a fleet is a balancing act. Drivers want to get their work done and finish their shifts safely.
Meanwhile, the company demands efficiency; you need to optimize routing, vehicle maintenance, safety, and budgets.
As a fleet manager, you wear many hats, including human resources, scheduling, dispatch, maintenance, driving, inventory, warehouse, tracking costs, and customer service. Ford Pro AI helps you master your multi- hat role by turning complex duties into tasks completed in minutes. You can more quickly review vehicle performance and health, driver performance, analyze service needs, and adjust strategies on the fly.
We surveyed fleet managers to understand how much time they spend on specific job duties. They report over 23 hours a week1 on average is devoted to juggling routine tasks ranging from scheduling service to managing drivers and tracking costs.
What could you do with these hours back each week?
Fleet managers surveyed anticipate that using AI could help them save an average of 40% of their time or more on daily tasks each week2. To ensure we addressed real fleet pain points, we worked with early access customers like Mackenzie Meis, who manages over 2,000 vehicles for CentiMark, a commercial roofing company. Her verdict? “It has saved me time by pulling up important vehicle data and summaries on demand. If an office has a question, I can have an answer for them in minutes.”
We know Ford vehicles best, and Ford Pro AI leverages our proprietary systems to provide more accuracy and details about your vehicles’ health. This helps remove the guesswork to get to the core of an issue quickly.
2027 Super Duty
For 2027, Tremor® Off-Road Package is now available on all Super Duty models. We're expanding Tremor availability to XL Trim with STX Appearance Package — the same 35-inch tires, factory lift, electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, Trail Control™, and Rock Crawl Mode™ that Tremor customers expect. For customers who overland on weekends and tow for work during the week, Tremor being an option with STX Appearance Package lowers the barrier to serious off-road capability. This is a direct response to what we saw customers building on their own — now we're bringing it from the factory.
Since we introduced Tremor Off-Road Package to Super Duty in 2020—which boasted the largest tires ever fitted to a heavy-duty truck at the time— we've heard one request more than almost any other: "I want Tremor, but I need an 8-foot bed." For 2027, Super Duty says to customers: “You can have both.”
Tremor Off-Road Package is now available on Crew Cab with the 176-inch wheelbase and 8-foot bed — delivering the most configurable off-road offering on Super Duty ever, with both 6-3/4' and 8' box options now available. Combined with Tremor's 35-inch tires, factory lift, electronic locking rear differential, and 48-gallon fuel tank — the largest available on Super Duty — it's the no-compromise off-road hauler our customers have been asking for.
In 2023, we introduced XL Off-Road Package — an immediate favorite among Super Duty fans wanting maximum off-road capability and value. At $995, it gave customers 33-inch off-road tires, an electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, and water-fording capability on an XL trim work truck. But arborists, forestry workers, mining engineers, and utility crews told us they needed more ground clearance and larger tires — in a clean work truck, without branded graphics or expensive interior content.
The 2027 XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package answers that call — part of a lineup that now offers more available off-road capability across Super Duty than ever before. The package pairs a factory ride height increase, limited-slip front differential, electronic locking rear differential, performance shocks, Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist™, Rock Crawl Mode, and transfer case and fuel tank skid plates with 35-inch tires on an XL trim work truck. It includes a full-size matching 35-inch spare and an unbranded exterior — no decals. For businesses and government agencies that apply their own graphics, this is the truck they've been asking for.
The existing XL Off-Road Package is renamed XL Off-Road 33-Inch Tire Package for 2027, creating a clear two-tier off-road lineup within XL trim. Both packages can be paired with the available Ford Performance 12,000-lb. Warn® Winch. And because this is factory-engineered with a bundled greater-than-10,000-pound GVWR Package and XL Driver Assist Package, customers get capability and on-road confidence right from the factory.
