Sortimo of North America Inc. unveiled a series of new vehicle upfitting solutions at Work Truck Week 2026, highlighting systems designed to improve fleet productivity, installation speed, and vehicle lifecycle flexibility.
New Vehicle Upfitting Solutions
Sortimo’s first highlighted system, the SR5 van racking system, is a lightweight shelving solution designed to help technicians organize tools and materials efficiently while maximizing available payload. The system is engineered to support faster workflows in the field by keeping equipment accessible and reducing time spent searching for tools.
The company also presented ProPartition Light, a next-generation partition system that separates the cargo and driver compartments while maintaining a lightweight design. The solution is built to improve safety and durability without significantly impacting vehicle weight.
Another system introduced at the press conference was Sortimo’s Parametric Flooring, which uses pre-drilled mounting points to speed up installation and simplify customization. The flooring allows upfitters to configure vehicle interiors more quickly while maintaining flexibility for different fleet applications.
Sortimo also highlighted the Sortimo Rail System (SRS), a patented “Click & Go” rail design that allows equipment and storage components to be mounted, removed, and reconfigured across multiple vehicle lifecycles. This modular approach enables fleets to adapt vehicles for different applications over time without reinstalling entire upfitting systems.
Completing the showcase was FlexRack 2.0, a solution designed for last-mile delivery applications that focuses on maximizing cargo access and improving efficiency for delivery operations.
